Hyderabad City police to address zonal traffic woes through DETs

The police under the Cyberabad commissionerate would soon introduce dedicated Divisional Enforcement Treams to enforce traffic rules, ease traffic holdups and ensure travel safety at the zonal level. 

The DETs will examine and evaluate the traffic-related issues in the three zones located at Madhapur, Shamshabad and Balanagar. The teams, comprising an SI and six constables, will work as per the guidelines provided by the higher authorities and implement measures to ease traffic and prevent mishaps. 

The team members would be provided with body-worn cameras and breathe analysers, The DET members would also be given tabs, communication sets, video and still cams. The traffic police are confident that these measures would go a long way in addressing the traffic related issues.
