Lightning and thunder alert for Vizag, East Godavari

The Vizag-based weather department has issued an alert to the people of East Godavari and Visakhapatnam of the possibility of massive thunderous activity in the sky for he coming 24 hours. 

Lightning might strike heavily in these two districts. In addition, there would be thunder storms across the coastal districts and the high velocity winds might blow in the southwesterly direction  in the North coastal region and in the southernly direction in the Southern coastal region. 

The authorities have warned the fishermen to be careful while on their fishing operations.
