KCR orders probe into MBBS scam

 Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has sought for an inquiry into the alleged scam of medical seats availed under sports quota using fake credentials.

In an official release by the CMO on Thursday, KCR has ordered

the Anti-Corruption Bureau(ACB) to probe into the alleged scam after the government has been informed regarding the misuse of sports quota to get MBBS seats and that action will be taken against the culprits.

As to when the scam occurred, the details are yet to be ascertained. 

With news breaking out regarding the probe, doctors’ associations said that the state government should ensure that such scams do not happen in future.
