Telugu Writer Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani dies

Amaravati:A renowned Telugu novelist, Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani, 79, died due to heart stroke at California in United States of America. She was with her daughter in USA when she died, according to the sources.

She known for her famous writings like Secretary, Jeevana Tarangalu, Mouna Bhashyam, Keerti Kireetalu, Saha Jeevanam, Aagamanam, Asaka Sikharalu, Atmiyulu, Agnipulu, Ahuti, Amara Hrudayam, Bahumati, Bandi, Bangaru Kalalu, Meena and other novels. In her life time, she wrote about 80 novels.She born at Kaza village in Muvva mandal in Krishna district in the year 1940. 

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu expressed shock over the sudden demise of Sulochana Rani and conveyed condolences.

He said that she inspired middle class women folk in the state with her writings.
