AP gets good news from Centre

In what could be seen as a sweet news to the Andhra Pradesh Government, the Central Government has okayed the Land Acquisition Amendment Bill. 

President Ramnath Kovind has given his nod for the bill. The notification is likely to be issued in a couple of days. The act was amended and several aspects from the Gujarat land amendment bill were incorporated into it.  

This will enable the Government to acquire agricultural lands too.
