Hyderabad Metro services on Ameerpet-LB Nagar route to be launched in July

The launch of Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) services on the Ameerpet-LB Nagar route covering nearly 17 km is getting closer.HMR officials conducted a check of the overhead electrical lines and other components on the route with the help of a cantilever maintenance vehicle (CMV) on Tuesday to detect any snags.

Test runs will also be held in the coming days which will complete the check on the entire system before the Commissioner Metro Rail Safety conducts the inspection.Telangana government is gearing up for the launch of the services from July.

On the other hand, a French public transportation group, Keolis, operating the Hyderabad Metro Rail held an International Metro Rail Conference in Hyderabad today where ideas and experiences regarding the latest Metro Rail technologies and innovative solutions being adopted by different Metros across the globe were discussed.
