Bill collector has assets worth Rs 40 crore

Guntur: An ordinary bill collector in the Guntur Municipal Corporation was found to own a staggering Rs 40 crore worth of assets. 

On Wednesday,, the police raided the assets of Mudraboina Madhav, a bill collector in the town. They raided nine places in the town and one each in Ponnur and Machavaram. 

He was found to have four apartments, 15-20 house sites, an Innova car, three two-wheelers, 200 gms of gold and Rs 7 lakh in cash. The officials estimate that his assets could touch Rs 40 crore. Nine teams of officials have conducted the raids.
