Extra-marital affair leads to the death of an NGO programme officer

An NGO programme officer was allegedly murdered in Mahabubnagar district on Wednesday. According to the police, the deceased, G Ramu, a native of Warangal district, was working with the city-based NGO.

He was found murdered with his throat slit on Wednesday evening on the outskirts of Kosgi Mandal.

During the investigation, the police found out that Ramu was allegedly murdered with a knife by the husband of a woman, with whom he is suspected to have an extra-marital affair.

The police have taken the accused into custody and a case has been registered in this regard.
