KCR warns RTC employees unions against strike

 With the Telangana RTC workers all set to go on a strike from June 11, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has warned the RTC employees that they would lose their jobs if they participate in the strike. 

Making it clear that the TSRTC would be closing if the employees go on strike, he said that the strike will be last one in the history of TSRTC and the employees, who are willing to lose their jobs, can participate in the strike. 

KCR advised the employees' unions to understand the intention of the state government and inform their decision to the RTC management.

Meanwhile, the TSRTC workers union who are gearing up for the strike are planning to stop the running of the buses all over the state.

According to the Union, the buses will stop plying from midnight of June 10.

The Union leaders stated that they will stage a protest on June 8 adding that they won’t be resuming work until the ministerial subcommittee or the chief minister's office will call them for negotiations and discussions.

The TSRTC Union stated that the strike is a protest against the Telangana government for neglecting their demands.
