People throng Hyderabad for fish prasadam

The annual fish prasadam administration programme was launched by Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav on Friday at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally.

People turned up in large numbers from across the country for the prasadam which will be administered till 9 am on Saturday.

34 counters have been set up for the event and nearly 2 lakh fishlings have been arranged for distribution of the fish prasadam. So far, 10000 people have already been administered with the prasadam. Free food and water distribution stalls have been set up at the venue by many voluntary organizations for the convenience of people.
