KCR to embark on Rythu Yatra to publicise Rythu Bandhu scheme

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao recently launched the welfare schemes for farmers – Rythu Bandhu, which targets at paying Rs 8,000 per acre to each farmer every year and Rs 5 lakh crop insurance scheme.

According to the reports, the schemes have faced problems in the implementation and the authorities reported that the schemes have not gained the expected publicity.

Latest reports suggest that KCR has decided to take up extensive tours of villages starting from August 15 to witness the impact of the Rythu Bandhu scheme on the farmers.

The Chief Minister is expected to call on the beneficiary families and interact with them to take their feedback. During the Rythu Yatra, KCR will also address meetings to receive the issues the people have faced due to the loopholes in the schemes and identify any other issues pending in the villages which need immediate attention.

All the cabinet colleagues and MLAs would also participate in Rythu Yatra in their respective constituencies to publicise the schemes.
