TRS MP Kavitha flays Central schemes over non-allocation of funds

TRS MP from Nizamabad, K Kavitha on Thursday participated in the review meeting on development works in Jagityal district where she hit out strongly against the Central government over the lack of funds for the sponsored schemes in Telangana.

Expressing disappointment over non-allocation of funds to the Centrally-sponsored schemes in the state, Kavitha said that the BJP-led NDA government is not allocating even five percent funds to the Central schemes. 

She went on to criticize the BJP leaders for deceiving people by giving assurances about Centrally-driven schemes. Pointing out that the farmers are happy with the Rythu Bandhu scheme, the TRS MP further directed the officials concerned to ensure welfare schemes reach farmers and the weaker sections of the society.
