YSRCP MLAs ready to resign posts for Steel Plant: Srikanth Reddy
Kadapa: YSRCP Senior leader and MLA Gadikota Srikanth Reddy ridiculed the Telugu Desam-sponsored deeksha for steel factory in Kadapa saying that the very TDP, which had put the people behind the bars for merely demanding the steel plant, was now agitating for the same thing.
He said the TDP deeksha was meant for publicity and image makeover only. He said only the YSRCP was sincerely fighting for the steel plant and that the party MLAs were ready to resign their posts for the sake of the steel plant.
He reminded that late YSR had launched the steel plant works and had works worth Rs 2000 crore done during his time. He said YSR had never depended on the Centre’s assistance. On the contrary, Chandrababu could not get even a single industry to the state. He said Chandrababu had promised to make Kadapa a T Hub and a horticulture hub, but did nothing to implement those assurances. If the TDP is sincere about the development of the Rayalaseema region, then it should set up the High Court in the seema districts, Srikanth Reddy said.
