Congress senior leader Danam Nagendar quits party

Congress senior leader Danam Nagendar has resigned to the party on Friday and he is likely to join the ruling TRS in a day or two.

Nagendar submitted his resignation to the All India Congress Committee on Friday morning. The PCC leaders are trying to pacify him and to convince him to withdraw the resignation.

Nagendar who worked as president of Hyderabad Congress Committee has been keeping away from the party activities for the past few months. He was miffed at the party leadership for not giving importance to him.Recently the Congress has appointed M Anjan Kumar Yadav and this has made Nagendar to think about his political future.
