KCR honors vow at Kanaka Durga Temple

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday visited the Kanaka Durga Temple located on the Indrakeeladri hillock in Vijayawada and offered prayers to the Goddess. Honoring the vow he made during the time of Telangana agitation, KCR offered a nose ring to the Goddess Kanaka Durga.

The Chief Minister had undertaken several vows during his visits to many famous temples in the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh such as Tirupati Balaji and Vijayawada Kanaka Durga for separate Telangana.

Previously, he offered gold ornaments to Lord Balaji at the Tirumala temple.
