Cops stop women leaving during Chandrababu's speech
Chandrababu Naidu’s long harangues are a real problem even for his best fans. Even ministers and MLAs yawn as he makes those long-winding speeches. Usually, when he breaks into his speech, which is usually quite long, harried audiences start leaving the venue.
Even in Kadapa, where he addressed a meeting orgnaised to mark the end of MP CM Ramesh’s fast, as he began his speech, the people, especially the womenfolk, started leaving the venue.
To prevent them from leaving, the police closed the gates. As a result, the women had to stand at the gates and wait till the speech was over for the gates to open. The TDP workers ferried across DWCRA women, anganwadi workers in a big number and they wanted to leave early. But, the police prevented them from leaving the venue.
