Lorry collides with autorickshaw in Kakinada; Six killed

Six people including a three-year-old baby were killed in a road mishap which took place in Kakinada in the early hours of Tuesday.

The incident occurred when an autorickshaw carrying 14 passengers collided with a tipper lorry.

The autorickshaw was heading towards Rameswaram village when the speeding lorry coming from the opposite direction crashed into it.

Eight others suffered grave injuries in the mishap and were admitted to the government general hospital in Kakinada. A case has been registered in this regard and police are investigating.
