Apologise for your comments- Jeevan Reddy to Ram Madhav
Hyderabad: The TRS party on Friday objected to the alleged comments of BJP leader Ram Madhav calling the TRS MLAs as impotent. The party has sought an apology from the senior BJP leader.
Addressing a press conference here at TRSLP office, Armur MLA A Jeevan Reddy said that it is uncalled for a leader of the party which calls itself as custodian of culture and party with difference. “It is not proper for a national leader like Ram Madhav to use such language against the MLAs. Ram Madhav should apologise to all the TRS MLAs for his remarks before leaving for New Delhi,” said Jeevan Reddy. It was reported in a section of media that Ram Madhav had called the TRS leaders impotent.
Jeevan Reddy said that the BJP leaders were losing their patience because their ‘Jana Chaitanya Yatra’ had become utter flop and were making such comments on the TRS leaders. Reddy said that capacity of the TRS leaders has been proven by the successive victories of TRS in every bye elections. “TRS has one every other election. The party won in Medak Lok Sabha after resignation of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao but the BJP has lost the Gorakhpur Lok Sabha seat after the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had resigned,” said Jeevan Reddy. The BJP has won even after it imported candidates from other parties and other countries, said Reddy.
The TRS leader asked the BJP leaders to prove their capability by winning at least the five Assembly constituencies which they represent in the city. The TRS leader said that the BJP leaders had achieved nothing new with their Yatra.
The TRS leader further targeted the BJP for not taking any steps to bring black money. He said that the people would answer to the allegations of the people.
