YSRCP not to back BJP in Rajya Sabha Dy Chairperson polls

The YSRCP will not vote for the BJP candidate in the upcoming Rajya Sabha deputy chiairperson election. YS Jagan, who met with the leaders of the party and regional coordinators at Anaparty for over three hours, felt that the BJP, which has betrayed the people of Andhra Pradesh, should not be supported. 

Relaying this information to the news persons, party senior leader Dharmana Prasada Rao said that the BJP has not fulfilled even a single promise made in the AP Bifurcation bill. Hence the party has decided not to back the BJP nominee. 

The YSRCP has also taken a decision to stage a dharna on the issue on the premises of the Congress Party.
