ACB officials arrest engineer for accepting Rs 2 lakh bribe

Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials arrested a superintending engineer of the Telangana Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation (TUFIDC) on Monday over charges of bribe.
Based on a tip, ACB conducted raids at the TUFIDC office where the accused S Praveen Chandra was caught accepting a Rs 2 lakh-worth bribe from a complainant in exchange for a favour.
Praveen Chandra has been arrested and will be produced in a special ACB court. The accused will be sent to judicial custody.
