Couple kidnapped in Vijayawada, beaten up mercilessly entire night

A couple was kidnapped in Vijayawada after eight unidentified persons forcibly entered their house in Satyanarayanapuram on Friday night.

The gang took the couple along with them in a car and thrashed them mercilessly entire night. 

The woman’s husband revealed that his wife had a financial dispute with another woman in a business. He alleged that the business partner sent unknown persons to collect money from them.

After the relatives pitched in Rs 5 lakh to the assailants, the couple were let off on Saturday morning.

Based on the complaint of the victims, the police registered a case and are investigating further.
