Rahul Gandhi to address Osmania University students on Aug 13

All India Congress Committee president Rahul Gandhi is set to make his first visit to Telangana after assuming charge as Party President. 

The state Congress unit is making all arrangements to ensure his visit makes an impact on the government till the elections.

According to the party sources, Rahul Gandhi will address Osmania University students on the campus on August 13th and the Congress leaders are preparing to welcome him to the campus of Arts college.

While one section of students is supporting Rahul Gandhi's visit, another group among the students in the Osmania University is against it and planning to obstruct AICC Chief's address.

Sources reveal the state government has started taking preventive measures to deny Rahul Gandhi’s entry into the campus.

CMO has reportedly instructed the OU authorities not to permit any political activity on the campus since it is likely to evoke violence. Keeping this in consideration, it is likely that OU authorities may impose a ban on any meetings on the campus.
