Criminal cases to be registered on KCR: Revanth Reddy

Update: 2018-09-01 22:53 IST

Congress leader and Kodangal MLA Revanth Reddy alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is trying to showcase the 25 lakh people attending for the Pragati Nivedana Sabha as his army.

Speaking at the press conference in Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday, Reddy said KCR is violating all the laws to organise the public meeting. He further questioned him for ferrying people on tractors which was forbidden for public transportation. He also dared him for filing a case for causing inconvenience to the people for bringing them to the meeting on tractors.

He also hit out at HMDA commissioner Janardhan Reddy for removing toll on the outer ring road for the government's public meeting. Questioning the court, he asked why it is not taking the case as suo moto.

Reddy also came down heavily on KCR saying that the CM who aimed to plant crores of trees under Haritha Haram programme is now uprooting them for Pragati Nivedana Sabha. He also suggested the Green Tribunal arrest him by registering criminal cases.
