Public Health, Law and Order was given top priority
Better Medical facilities: across the state towards maintenance of each bed in a hospital on an average Rs. 5016 is being incurred. At a cost of Rs 600 crores in all government hospitals new medical equipments have been procured. Across the state 40 dialysis centres, 40 diagnostic centres were established. In 25 government hospitals ICUs, in 12 hospitals cancer testing centres were established.
Basti Davakhanas in Hyderabad: In Hyderabad city urban health clinics (Basti Davakhanas) were started in various divisions. Where there are more number poor people initially 50 such centres were established.
Kanti Velugu: in order to provide better vision government has commenced Kanti Velugu programme. Spectacles, medicines and operations are conducted at free of cost.
Paramapada vahanalu: for transporting the dead from hospitals (those patients who have lost their life’s in hospitals) at free of cost government has introduced Paramapada vehicles.
Employee’s welfare: Telangana increment has been announced for all the government employees after achieving Telangana state. Sakala Janula strike period has declared as special leave. 43% fitment has been given to employees. Contributory pension scheme (CPS) employees are being paid gratuity. Health cards were given to employees.
TS IPASS-single window system: To accord permissions in just 15 days time Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self Certification System (TSIPASS) act has been introduced. As on 15th August 2018 Rs. 1,32,000 crores investments came into the state of Telangana. Through online system 7697 industries were granted permissions, 2.50 lakh people got employment.
Information technology: (IT) government is providing required infrastructural facilities for the IT companies in the state. As on May 2018 in nearly 1500 IT /ITES companies about 4.75 lakh direct employment, 7 lakh indirect employment could be generated. IT exports have gone up to Rs 1 lakh crores. IT incubation centre T-Hub at Hyderabad has gained worldwide recognition. In second level cities like Karimnagar, Khammam, Warangal IT incubation centres were being established.
Law and order: By strengthening the police department in all manner law and order could be protected in a smooth manner. Across the state lakhs of CC cameras were installed and the system of security has been strengthened. Very soon at International level, a police and command control centre is being launched in Hyderabad. With the result of ‘she teams’ constant vigil women protection could be achieved to a vast extent. Traffic police are accorded 30% pollution allowance.
Hyderabad as Global city: At a cost of 35000 crores in Hyderabad different beautifications concepts were conceived and constructions were made across the city of Hyderabad. To prevent the vehicular traffic menace strategic road development programmes were conceived at a cost of 25000 crores. Fly overs, express ways, FOBs, Underpass constructions are being made. For roads development 2716 crores works are in progress. To fulfil the need of drinking water at a capacity of 20 TMCs two reservoirs are being constructed. In forthcoming 5 years time at a cost of Rs 50000 crores infrastructure facilities are being developed in Hyderabad.
Welfare of Singareni workers: in the profits of Singareni 27% share is being given to the workers. Towards construction of own houses Rs 10 lakhs interest free loans are being accorded. Government has decided to release the PRP of Singareni employees. Compassionate appointments are being speeded up.
Telugu must up to 10th standard: Government has decided that in all educational institutions Telugu must be taught as a subject up to 10th Class.
Development of Telangana Temples: Yadadri, Vemulawada, Bhadradri, Basra, Dharmapuri, Jogulamba, Komuravelli Mallanna, Koravi Veeranna and other devotional places including Nagarjuna Konda, Buddha aaramla development are taking place at a rapid place.
Telangana festivals celebrated officially: In the state Batukamma, Bonalu, Ramzan, Christmas and other festivals are celebrated officially.
Sarees for women during Batukamma festival: on the eve Batukamma festival for all the poor women in the state sarees are distributed free of cost.
Official celebration of Telangana Luminaries birth and death anniversaries: those who have contributed their lot in various fields as a token of remembrance certain institutions were named after their names and their birth and death anniversaries are celebrated officially. In the name of Komaram Bheem and Jayashankar two districts were given their names.
