AP Minister Facing Trouble Time In Vizianagaram

Update: 2018-09-04 22:25 IST

Andhra Pradesh Minister Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao is facing tough time in his native Vizianagaram district.  Though he won from YSR Congress party,  Rao shifted loyalties to Andra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and secured a berth in Naidu cabinet.

Ever since the minister along with his brother Babynayana joined the TDP, the party split into two groups. The local faction headed by MP Ashokgajapathi Raju is keeping away the minister and his followers from attending the party programmes.

Speculations are doing rounds that minister's brother will not be given party ticket to contest from Vizianagaram parliamentary constituency as the incumbent MP Raju is not ready to sacrifice the seat.  Babynayana lost to Raju from YSR Congress in the last elections. If the TDP did not give party ticket,  Rao brother will not hesitate to quit Telugu Dream in next election.
