Three hundred Anna Canteens to be set up by this year: Chandrababu Naidu
Amaravati: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that he will establish more than three hundred Anna Canteens across the State by the end of this year, during a short discuss on the progress of the canteens in Assembly on Thursday.
Chandrababu Naidu said that he will consider the suggestions given by all the MLAs while implementing the programme.
BJP MLA Vishnukumar Raju suggested government to allow visitors to take food from 11.30 am onwards and remove the condition of serving it only from 12 noon. He said that this will reduce Q lines at the canteens.
Another MLA of TDP, Bonda Umamaheswara Rao suggested to provide food to the near by old-age homes. He asked to allow the old-age homes management to take parcel food from canteens.
