5 held, 20 vehicles seized in cordon and search operation at Balanagar

In a cordon and search operation launched at Peddamma colony of Balanagar in the wee hours on Wednesday, the Balanagar DCP PV Padmaja along with Shamirpet police took five persons into custody.

As a part of the operation, around 130 police officials conducted a search in 120 houses and seized 13 bikes, 4 three-wheelers and 3 four-wheelers. 

Of the five suspects, four hails from Karnataka and living in the city without any identity proof. And one another Anjaneya is a native of Andhra Pradesh, who was involved in a murder case.
