Governor, CM greet people on Ganesh Chaturthi
Hyderabad: On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Governor ESL Narasimhan and Telangana caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao extended wishes to the people of the state.
"I convey my warm greetings to the people of Telangana State on the occasion of Vinayaka Chathurthi. This important Hindu festival is celebrated across the country with great devotion and gaiety and with the participation of youth in large number. Devotees offer prayers to Lord Ganesha to remove hurdles for the success of their every endeavour. It is customary for many to offer initial prayers to Lord Vigneswara, for the success of new ventures. I pray to Lord Vigneswara to shower His choicest blessings on all of us to lead a life of peace and harmony this year," the governor said in his message.
While the chief minister KCR extended greetings on Twitter saying, "Lord Ganesh may lead all the people of Telangana on the path of progress, happiness, peace and prosperity.
