Traffic bandobust for ganesh immersion

Hyderabad: Additional Commissioner of police, Traffic Anil Kumar said that 2100 traffic personnel will be deployed for the final ganesh immersion  on Sunday. He said for the smooth and peaceful movement of the main procession from Balapur to Tank bund  and several tributary processions 14,000 law and order police cooperate the smooth movement of idols.

He said the entire city is divided into 38 sectors and the idols will be bifurcated at Ambedkar statue at Liberty.All the junctions in the city will be manned by Sub inspectors and in some places SP rank and DIG rank officers will supervise the situation.

Kharatabad ganesh procession will start at about 7am and before 1 pm on Sunday will be immersed. He said only the vehicles carrying the idols will be allowed towards the NTR marg and Tank bund. 10 parking places arranged for the vehicles around Tank bund. 2000 signage boards are placed by the GHMC for the safe and smooth movement of the procession.
