Central alert to AP Police. Don't move blindly. Maoist Ambush ahead. Is combing operations suspended in AP?
Visakhapatnam: The central intelligence alerted the AP Police to be very careful while moving into the dense forest as the CPI Maoists planted a huge number of landmines and pipe bombs at various routes expecting the armed forces will move for high striking attacks on them, after the Araku Valley MLA K.Sarveswarara Rao and former MLA S.Soma's brutal killings.
In fact, 25 greyhound team besides 550 special armed forces with the help of the local police already started for combing operations in the Andhra Odisha Border (AOB). However, according to a flash alert from the central intelligence, the top police bosses high alerted the armed forces.
According to the reports from various agencies, the Maoists sketched a massive operation targeting multiple numbers of armed forces in the AOB. It is learnt that the news was broke in Chattisgargh, after the Chattisgargh police arrested some Maoists. When contacted, the AP police officers are not responding about the strategic ambush of Maoists. However, a senior official said that they alerted their men to be very careful. The police officials are remembering about the Balimela ambush in which 38 police personnel died.
