Minister released water from Mylavaram reservoir

 Kadapa: Marketing minister C.Adinarayana Reddy has releaeed the water to river Penna from Mylavaram reservoir on Wednesday. Speaking the occasion the minister said right now there was 4.75tmcft of water is available in the reservoir.  

He said in view of people in several villages facing hurdles for drinking water government has taken such move in releasing the water through irrigation canals. He said that it is proposed to release 1500 cusecs of water per days for six days Mylavaram reservoir. 

The minister has urged the people to utilize the water in proper manner as there will be limited water is available in the Mylavaram reservoir. MLC Ramasubba Reddy, Rajya Sabha member CM Ramesh TDP Proddaturu constituency in charge N.Varadarajula Reddy and others were present.
