Appoint past sarpanchas as person in charges, demands Panchayat Raj Chamber

Tirupati: AP Panchayat Raj Chamber President YVB Rajendra Prasad has demanded the state government to take steps immediately to conduct Panchayat Raj polls or else appoint the farmer sarpanchas as person in charges. 

Speaking to media in Tirupati on the occasion of general body meeting of the chamber he demanded 15th finance commission to look into devolution of funds to local bodies and criticised the commission for not inviting the representatives of the chamber to discussions when it visited Amaravati recently. He has requested the state government to allott land in Amaravati for the Chamber to construct it's office.
