Intellectuals Assert Change of Policies in AP

Intellectuals, NRIs, leaders and policy makers stressed the need to change in economic policies and transformation in socio- economic conditions for the inclusive development of the Andhra Pradesh. Participating in a debate on "WHY AP NEEDS Changes" conducted by  NRI forum in Vijayawada , the speakers asserted the role of government in education,  health,  food security and agriculture sectors need to be expanded.

 They said that people fed up with Chief minister N Chandrbabu Naidu's government and his  lopsided policies . Intellectuals questioned YSR Congress for maintaining soft corner on BJP led NDA government at the centre. They expressed confidence that YSR Congress will fulfill the aspirations of all sections if voted to power in the next elections. Leaders demanded the strict implementation of fee reimbursement scheme.  

The participants also insisted YSR Congress to announce its plan of action to address the growing uneployment problem in Andhra Pradesh.  They also lambasted the centre  for introducing the GST and demonitisation. Retired central services official Srikanth Reddy presided over the programme,  NRI Harshvardhan Reddy and others participated.
