City cops busted fake consultancies, held five
Hyderabad police busted fake consultancy groups and arrested five members of the gang on Tuesday. Police seized 680 fake education certificate,680 original certificates,96 fake rubber stamps, 3 laptops, 10 pendrive.
Police also seized fake pass books, fake fixed deposits in Andhra Bank.
According to City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, the main accused J Srikanth Reddy, Mohammed Athique,K Sharath Chandar, Imran Shaik and Akhil collected Rs 50,000 to 60,000 from the victims and created fake passports and cheated them.
The accused created fake certificates of OU, JNTU, Madras University and Kakatiya University. They have operated from SR Nagar, Begumpet, Sindhi Colony and Padmavathi plaza.
On reliable information, Central Task Force team arrested the accused.
