Over 15000 runners participated in Vizag Navy Marathon

 Visakhapatnam:Over 15,000 people including the naval officers from various nations  along with their family members  took part in the fifth edition of Vizag Navy Marathon-2018 hereon Sunday from RK beach in the city.

The Eastern Naval Command (ENC) in association with the AP Tourism Department and Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh hosted the Marathon with a motto to bring Vizag into the landmark destination for the runners across India and take the marathon as the best experience for the runners.  

The Vizag-Navy-Marathon was  conducted in four categories Courage Run (Full Marathon-42.195Kms , Destiny Run (Half Marathon-21.1Kms , Friendship Run (10km) and Run for Fun (5km).
