All set for Sonia Gandhi rally in Medchal today

  UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi will be addressing a public meeting at Medchal today. This is the first time that the former AICC chief visiting the state after the formation of Telangana and the TPCC called on all the Congress leaders, booth level officers to be present at the meeting.

It is learned that the Congress will be highlighting the topic that the Telangana as a separate was achieved by Sonia Gandhi.

Sonia will arrive at Begumpet airport around 5.30 pm and reach the venue by 6 pm. The 45-minute long speech of Sonia will be followed by Rahul Gandhi's speech where he will officially announce the Congress manifesto.

A massive security force will be deployed at the venue as lakhs of people's presence is speculated. The Mahakutami leaders TTDP president L Ramana, BC welfare committee president R Krishnaiah, MRPS president Manda Krishna Madiga, TJS chief Kondadaram will also attend the meeting.
