Industrialization should reach every corner of Telangana: KTR
Hyderabad: Minister KT Rama Rao addressed the business fraternity at 'Telangana Industrialists Association' meeting in Hyderabad on Friday.
In the meeting, Minister highlighted the government’s efforts in boosting the investment by developing sector-specific Industrial parks focusing on Pharma, Medical Devices, Aerospace & Defence, MSME, Textiles, Food Processing among others. With the new industries coming into the state, the government succeeded in creating lakhs of employment opportunities, he added.
Minister mentioned that the Economic Times had recently conferred 'Business Reformer of the Year' Award to CM KCR for the revolutionary reforms he introduced in the industrial sector.
Minister said that by 2021, all the irrigation projects in the state will be completed providing water to lakhs of acres in Telangana. He also mentioned that through Mission Kakatiya, the TRS government successfully rejuvenated thousands of lakes.
Just by completing Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project, we will be able to provide water to about 38 lakh acres, he added.
Minister appealed to the industry federations to come forward so that we can work towards taking Industrialisation to every corner of Telangana.
Minister ridiculed the Congress-TDP alliance and said, Congress, TJS and CPI came up with their own manifestos and struggled with seat allocations. They are playing opportunistic politics. “How can they run elections when they cannot allocate seats within 100 days?” he asked.
"With all your support and blessings we will come back to power and continue the development works," he said.
