Pink ballots can't be changed: OP Rawat
Reacting to the objections being raised by some parties in Telangana over pink ballots, the chief election commissioner of India OP Rawat said that they cannot be changed as they are being used since 1952.
"The objections would have been raised when the party chose the colour, not on pink ballots," added EC.
Meanwhile, the EC team which is touring in Telangana expressed satisfaction over the poll arrangements being made in the state. It also directed the state election officials to take action on the complaints pertaining to poll code violations.
He also reacted over the bogus voters saying that they will be removed for Lok Sabha polls. Rawat also said that they have received 211 complaints about paid news and most of them were from Peddapalli.
