Inter-state burglary gang busted in Hyderabad, Rs 1 Cr worth gold seized
The Hyderabad north zone taskforce police busted an inter-state burglary gang and seized Rs 1.05 worth gold and diamond ornaments from their possession. The police arrested four members of the gang and they were identified as Karri Satish, Narendar Naik, Pacchapati Srinivas and Kondareddy Sudhirkumar.
According to the commissioner of police Anjani Kumar, the gang burgled several houses in Hyderabad and neighbouring states like Chennai, Bengaluru. Of the four, three accused were to known to each other in Chanchalguda jail. They began committing the crimes together after getting released from jail.
Satish, Narendar and Srinivas were also involved in the theft of gold and diamond ornaments from a famous doctor in Chennai. They were learned to have conducted a recce for three days and burgled the doctor's house on the fourth day. On learning the arrest of the gang, the Chennai police arrived Hyderabad. The accused are being shifted to Chennai on a transit warrant.
