Hyderabad: Recalling that the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh had alleged that Chandrababu Naidu was referred as invalid rupee, Minister Harish Rao on Thursday asked the Congress party leaders in Telangana as how the TDP leader would be helpful in the State.
Addressing a press conference here, Minister Harish Rao recalled that during June, the Congress party led by PCC President N Raghuveera Reddy printed a booklet stating that the TDP president did not fulfill the poll promises. "If Chandrababu Naidu is invalid rupee in Andhra Pradesh, how can he be a valid rupee in Telangana," asked Harish Rao. The Congress party in Andhra Pradesh released a charge sheet against Chandrababu Naidu, he recalled. He said that Chandrababu Naidu is known for opportunism. "Chandrababu is calling the alliance with Congress is historical need. He said the same thing after aligning with BJP. This is not histrocal need for the people but for the survival of Telugu Desam in Telangana," said Harish Rao.
Harish Rao also lashed on to the Mahakutami calling it as 'Daga Kutami'. He took exception to the comments of TJS president M Kodandaram that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was an injured batsman. Harish Rao said that people would know who is injured batsman on December 11. He said that the TRS is going to form government on December 11.
Harish Rao also took exception to the Congress party using the picture of Sagaraharam in its manifesto. Rao said that black and white picture of Sagarharam was printed in the manifesto because it had all pink flags. He said that the Congress had no right to use the Sagaraharam picture because it was opposed by the Congress party, while it was in power.
