Telangana Assembly Elections 2018: Telangana police provide 4+4 security to Revanth Reddy

 After being directed by the High Court, the Telangana State Police Department provided 4+4 security force to Congress working president Revanth Reddy.

Along with 4+4 gunmen, the police department has also sent two escort vehicles to his assembly constituency Kodangal. The security will be provided till December 11 i.e, after the election results.

The Hyderabad High Court on Friday told the state police department to accord security to Revanth Reddy who alleged of having a threat from the opposition parties.

Responding to the petition filed by Revanth Reddy early this month, a single bench judge directed centre to provide security to Reddy, but it approached the High Court dismissing the verdict.
