CCS police arrested a persons on the charges of collecting money from the unemployed youth
Kadapa: Kadapa Central Crime Station (CCS) police have arrested a person on the charges of collecting lakhs of rupees from the unemployed youth in the name facilitating jobs in central government. The accused has been identified as Tanuku Basava Raju Devuni Kadapa area in Kadapa city.
Addressing press conference here on CCS DSP D.Nageswara Reddy here on Monday said that following recent notification published by the railway department for various posts, the accused hatched plan for looting money from the unemployed youth by making them belief that he would facilitate jobs in Railway department.
In this connection youth from surrounding villages approached the accused as they paid him about Rs 20lakhs to him. Meanwhile after some time the victims suspected some wrong with the accused following he has given un reasonable answers, as one Puligoti Chirunjeevi of Devuni Kadapa lodged complaint on 14th November with Chinna chouk police.
Police arrested him at Gouse nagar when he was moving under suspicious circumstances on Monday.
