Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis describes TRS, Congress, and TDP as 'private limited parties’
HYDERABAD: On Tuesday the CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis had accused the TRS, Congress and TDP leadership of practising politics in a dynastic form and described them as 'private limited parties', who are worried only about their families.
While addressing an election rally at Vemulawada and Mandamarri in Telangana, he alleged that the parties have no concern for the people and are only worried about their families. "On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's family is 125 crore people of the country...he only cares about their welfare and is working tirelessly for them", he said.
"In the TRS, KCR (Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief and caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao) is the chief and it is (his son) KTR, (daughter) Kavitha and other family members who all run the party. A common worker cannot become the TRS chief and if he dreams to do so, they will be removed from the party," Fadnavis asserted.
By speaking of the Congress and TDP, he said that, they are also 'private limited parties' and there is no democracy in these parties, he said.
Fadnavis had claimed that only the BJP has democracy and it is the only party in which a common tea seller was capable of becoming the Prime Minister and a small-time worker rose to become BJP's president.
He appealed to the voters to elect BJP and assured that the Vemulawada temple would be developed. The BJP, if has been voted to power in Telangana, would fulfil the promises that have been made to the people, Dalits, tribals, youth, women and farmers, he said.
The Modi government has already sanctioned funds to the state of Telangana for the construction of houses, but KCR has 'failed’ to utilise them, he alleged and accused that the KCR-led government has not implemented the fund schemes of the central government in the state, which also includes the PMJDY health insurance scheme. "Only because of vote bank politics, KCR kept people of Telangana deprived of many welfare schemes of the Modi government," he maintained.
Fadnavis had criticised KCR for not celebrating the Telangana Liberation Day, by saying that, "I am surprised (over the Telangana government not celebrating the day officially)... In Maharashtra, Marathwada Liberation Day is celebrated officially by unfurling the national flag and those who sacrificed their lives for liberating Marathwada are remembered".
