TDP to contest in Odisha elections 2019

Expanding the party to the neighbouring state Odisha, the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh is planning to contest in Odisha elections next year.
Aiming to get anti-BJP party at the centre, the TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu has already meet anti-BJP parties at centre. It is learned that the party will be focusing on the regions which have numerous Telugu people.
Speaking to media, TDP Odisha chief Rajesh Putra said that the TDP will contest in 2019 Odisha elections. "We are planning to contest from 50 assembly constituencies and 5 parliament seats," said Rajesh.
