Congress leaders met DGP to provide them additional security in view of counting on Tuesday

  In view of tomorrow's counting of votes of Telangana Assembly elections Congress leaders met DGP M Mahendar Reddy atbhis office on Monday. Congress leaders Madhu Yashki Goud, Gudur Narayan Reddy along with other leaders have  requested him for enhancing security to senior leaders of Congress party.

Since the attacks were held on congress leaders namely Madhu Yashki Goud, K S Ratnam, Pilot Purohit Reddy , Gudur Narayan Reddy and Vamshichand Reddy  on polling day in different constituencies they have urged the DGP to provide additional security to their leaders.

They have expressed dissatisfaction over the steps taken by the Security Review Committee till now.

They expressed their satisfaction over the DGP response and said while addresding the media at DGP office premises that he spoke to the concerned District SPs, IG's and commissioners and ordered full security to the congress leaders in their respective assembly constituencies.

They said that DGP also assured them that police staff will take video recordings to avoid any untoward incidents and to punish the culprit.
