Special summary revision of electoral rolls begins in TS

Hyderabad: The Election Commission of India has announced the Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls w.r.t.01.01.2019 as the qualifying date.
 
As per the schedule, the publication of Integrated Draft Electoral Rolls will be done on December 26; Claims and Objections will be received from 26th December to 25th January; Claims and Objections will be disposed of before 11th February; Updating database and printing of supplement will be done before 18th February and Final Publication of Photo Electoral Rolls will be done on 22nd February, 2019.
 
All eligible citizens who will attain 18 years of age as on 01.01.2019 and those missed to enroll themselves on earlier occasions can file their applications for enrolment, objections and correction. House to house visits will be done by the BLOs with pre-filled BLO register containing the details of existing electors in their respective part and to get the said details verified from the head of the family.
 
While filing their applications, all the citizens/electors shall provide the information accurately in all the columns of the relevant form, i.e. Form-6 (for inclusion of names), Form-7 (for filing objections), Form-8 (for modification of records in e-rolls) and Form-8A (for transposition of names from one address to another address within the same Assembly Constituency). All such applications can also be filed online in website http://www.nvsp.in.
