Congress conquers Rajasthan
NEW DELHI: On Tuesday Ashok Gehlot the senior Congress leader said that he was confident about his party forming the government in the state of Rajasthan and the decision regarding the post of the chief minister post will be taken by the party president Rahul Gandhi.
"We are confident that the Congress will get a clear majority and will for its government in Rajasthan," Gehlot said.
Gehlot said that Rahul Gandhi had raised the key issues which were of main concern to the people due to which Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "graph came down".
He said that Rahul Gandhi had first cornered Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah in the state Gujarat and played politics by basing them on issues.
He also said that the Congress had benefited as Rahul Gandhi raised issues which were concerning price inflation, farmers, the Rafale issue for which Modi and the BJP did not have anything to answer.
