AP CM Nara Chandra Babu Naidu Inaugurated MedTech Zone

   Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu here on Thursday inaugurated India's first ever  Andra Pradesh MedTech Zone. Later, he dedicated the zone to the nation.  Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and several other ministers and other VIPs were present. Later, the chief minister inaugurated a 3-day international seminar.

Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) Limited, ultra-modern medical equipment manufacturing, and testing facility, was conceived to create a world-class manufacturing hub in India, and catapult India as a global destination to manufacture MediTech products for one of the biggest markets.   

MedTech Zone is one of the great achievement of Andhra Pradesh government and the zone would export medical equipment and devices across the globe. Already 400 personnel employed in the zone and in a year time about 80 companies would start their production and it is expected over 2,000 employment opportunities would coming up in the zone. The zone was established in an extent of 270 acres with state-of-art-technologies.
