Collector inspected arrangements for steel plant

Kadapa: After the row over location of proposed steel plant at last concluded, the district administration gearing efforts for land breaking ceremony by chief minister N.Chandra Babu naidu at Kambala Dinne village Mylavaram mandal of Jammalamadugu constituency.

In this connection district collector CH.Harikiran along with Andhra Pradesh Mining Development Corporation (APMDC) Managing Director B.Sridhar, Vice Chairman CH.Venkaiah Chowdary and other officials visited Kambala Dinne village on Thursday.

The officials have inspected the location of  performing land breaking ceremony,  unveiling pylon, public meeting, helipad etc arrangements discussed with local leaders. Speaking the occasion collector said district administration has allocated 3,147 acres of land for the proposed unit. He said that necessary water is being supplied to the proposed unit from Gandikota Reservoir. He directed the officials to complete the works under war foot manner. Joint Collector P.Koteswara Rao, Jammalamadugu M.Naganna, Panchayath Raj SE V.Subba Reddy and others were present.
