Supreme Court declines plea made by Tamil Nadu over Mekedatu project

  BENGALURU: On Wednesday, the Supreme Court as a burden for the state of Tamil Nadu had rejected its plea which was made for a stay regarding the decision that was taken by the centre to allow Karnataka for the preparation of a detailed report of the project that has been proposed for the Mekedatu project.

Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice Ajay Rastogi had asked the Centre and as well as the Karnataka state government to be answerable for the petition that had been  filed by Tamil Nadu and adjourned the hearing for the next four weeks.
